Beginning Level 1 Two 1-hour classes Class Size: Minimum 2, Maximum 8. DESCRIPTION Boost Baby’s brain development. Studies show that learning Baby Sign Language has many cognitive and developmental benefits including speaking clearer, having an expanded vocabulary, achieving literacy earlier, achieving better grades in school, and even increasing Baby’s IQ up to twelve points above the average range. Empower your baby to be understood. Bond with your baby as he/she shares the world with you. Don't miss the first time Baby signs mommy or daddy; Baby’s excitement at spotting a bird or a dog; Baby asking you to tickle his/her tummy again and again. You will never forget that moment when she signs and her face lights up because she knows you finally understand. Replace crying with communication. Baby Sign Language lets babies as young as six months old communicate their needs so there is simply no need to cry. Your baby can tell you when he/she is hungry, wants more, or is all done; If he/she is too cold or too hot; Or that he/she is sleepy, or just wants his/her blanket or a hug. Never again be helpless at two in the morning trying to guess what a sobbing baby wants. CONTENT Baby Signs Level 1: These classes are an introduction to Baby Signs which is targeted to parents, family members, guardians, caretakers, or another corresponding adult to baby (or toddler). This class gives a foundation and background in Baby Sign Language, expanding on the benefits of teaching your baby ASL. This class teaches baby sign language vocabulary, when and how to use baby signs, and how to engage your baby in communicating in sign language. OTHER BABY SIGN LANGUAGE COURSES Baby Signs Level 2: You will get a beginning set of sign vocabulary of baby sign language and will practice methods of introducing baby signs through interaction and play. Your baby/toddler is welcome to join you in this class. Get a beginning set of sign vocabulary of baby sign language and will practice methods of introducing baby signs through interaction and play. Your baby/toddler is welcome to join you in this class. Baby Signs Level 3: This class provides instruction in an extended vocabulary of baby sign language.
